Jeffers Hog Holder

The Jeffers Hog Holder (also known as a hog catcher pole, hog snare, or pig pole) is used to safely and humanely capture or restrain pigs or hogs. Great to use in situations where the animals need to be moved, examined, or treated without causing harm or stress to them or to the handler.

Constructed from durable, rust-resistant carbon steel with nickel plating to withstand tough conditions. Features a cable stop to prevent wire kinks, rubber grips for a secure hold and optimal control, and a safety lock to provide a quick and easy release. Handle length: 26.625”L. Rubber grips: Approximately 4”L. Overall length (including snare): over 37”L.

Directions: 1) Approach the pig you want to capture with the pole in hand. 2) Maneuver the loop end of the pole around the pig's neck or snout. 3) Once the loop is securely in place, gently tighten it to restrain the pig's movement. 4) With the pig safely controlled, it can then be led to another location or handled for various purposes, such as medical treatment or transport.
